BSN–DNP - Nurse Anesthesia

BSN–DNP - Nurse Anesthesia

Elevate your nursing career to the highest level through our comprehensive 87-credit BSN to DNP Nurse Anesthesia program. This premier educational pathway combines the clinical expertise of nurse anesthesia with the leadership and systems thinking of doctoral preparation.

Our innovative hybrid curriculum delivers exceptional flexibility through a strategic blend of immersive on-campus experiences and convenient asynchronous online coursework. This thoughtfully designed approach strongly discourages outside employment during the program due to the intensity of coursework and extensive clinical hours required for graduation—a policy that embodies our Jesuit values of cura personalis (care for the whole person), reflection, and our unwavering commitment to excellence and service. By focusing exclusively on your studies, you'll develop the comprehensive expertise and perspective needed to excel in these advanced practice roles.

Our program is designed to help you successfully meet all clinical and academic requirements, including the specific case types and hours set by the Council on Accreditation (COA). Semesters are structured to run continuously, ensuring steady progress, while holidays and personal time off are thoughtfully scheduled on an individual basis to support your well-being throughout the program.

Graduates emerge fully prepared to excel in today's complex healthcare environment and qualify to sit for the National Certification Examination to become Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)—among the most sought-after and autonomous advanced practice providers in healthcare.
